The news is out that DC's latest seasonal anthology will be Spring Breakout, featuring a collection of stories from across the DC Universe. I was lucky enough to write a Superman story illustrated by the incredible Marco Santucci.
Writing Superman is a dream come true and with spring in mind, I couldn't help but set the story on Opening Day for the Metropolis Meteors. The Man of Steel and American's pastime just seem to go hand-in-hand and hopefully that plays out on the page.
If nothing else, the inclusion of a baseball related story led to superstar artist Dan Mora creating these instantly iconic variant covers:
